The origin of Paisley

BLOG · Jan 14, 2020

Paisley originated from the totem of Babylon, Cuba, which was widely popular after it was introduced into India. In the 19th century, the craftsmen of Paisley, a city in Scotland that produces wool cloth for printing and dyeing cotton, added different colors to a single cashew flower, and the elements such as swirl pattern became the pattern we see now. Once the cashew flower pattern was named after the small city Paisley.
